HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Capture Captain app is what you will use to gather video clips from your contributors.
Yes. The Capture Captain app is available on iOS and Android. Visit capturecaptain.app.link/go or visit the appropriate app store and search for Capture Captain App.

We recommend connecting to your local WiFi before starting to film so that approved clips can automatically upload in the background. If you're not on WiFi then the upload process will wait until you've completed all your filming tasks and you proceed by pressing 'NEXT' on the task list. This will take you to an uploads area where you can choose to upload using your mobile data allowance, or connect to a WiFi network.

A Story Code is needed because all the app content is unique for each project. You can create your own Story Code using the Captain portal - start your free trial today.
Once a video is recorded the contributor is asked to approve the clip, or re-record a new take. If approved, the video clip starts uploading in the background whilst additional filming tasks are completed. This means that by the time filming is complete, the majority of video clips are already uploaded to the Captain servers.
Captain do not charge users for uploading video clips, but other charges may apply from mobile network operators or local area networks.
We recommend uploading video clips via your local WiFi network as video files can be quite large - and this does not usually incur charges. If you don't have a local WiFi network then you can upload using your existing mobile data allowance.
